  • Monthly bulletins: be informed of the latest EESA developments, stay up-to-date with news and current affairs in the electric energy industry, and be in the loop about upcoming EESA events.
  • 10% discount on EECON registration*
  • Earn CPD points: As a technical society of Engineers Australia, EESA offers recognised CPD hours for participation in EESA seminars, webinars, technical site visits, symposiums and conferences. Time spent serving the society also counts towards your CPD.
  • Vote at EESA general meetings*
  • Volunteer with EESA. Chapters welcome assistance on their committees, so if you'd like to contribute, get in touch with your local chapter chair.

*These benefits are not included with the Free Student membership. Free Student membership is for people attending a full-time course in secondary or tertiary education (undergraduate or postgraduate) at a recognised educational institution (school, university or TAFE), and are not yet meaningfully employed in the electricity profession. Free Student membership allows attendance at events without cost, but does not allow access to EESA's extensive resource library, nor does it allow voting rights.

APPLY FOR CORPORATE Membership

  • Company/organisation listing on the EESA website (as a corporate member)
  • Two company staff members receive the equivalent of personal membership of EESA.
  • Membership on the local chapter committee and thus the company/organisation has the ability to have input to the types of events and activities that make up EESA’s annual CPD program.
  • Access to EESA’s significant information resources such as previous conference papers, recorded presentations from previous conferences, recordings of webinars or seminars.
  • Corporate members receive a priority for exhibition at our annual Electric Energy Conference (EECON) as well as receiving a discount for exhibiting at EECON or are able to take up a “training package that offers a discounted rate for EECON attendance.

  • The opportunity for the corporate member to host/sponsor technical training sessions. These sessions would be organised by EESA and would be an opportunity for the corporate member to provide information to EESA members regarding the company’s products and/or services. These sessions could be in the form of a seminar and/or webinar.
  • The ability for a corporate member to provide access to EESA live or recorded webinars and other EESA Continuous Professional Development resources for a prescribed number of individual members. This is achieved by the organisation receiving a 50% discount on an agreed number of individual memberships (depending on the level of corporate membership). These fees are to be paid individually or in total by the corporate member. This assists those individual members with improving their understanding of the key issues impacting the electric energy area across Australia.
  • The ability to advertise job positions on the EESA website, in its monthly Bulletin and What’s On publications as well as EESA’s LinkedIn page.
  • EESA is now “hosting” industry working groups (such as the Live Line Working Group) and thus would like the member organisations of the working group to be corporate members of EESA in order utilise EESA resources for hosting meetings and to support the costs of EESA “project managing” the working group
