Summary of changes to the model constitution
The model constitution in the Associations Incorporation Regulation 2010 was replaced with an updated model on 1 September 2016. Below is a summary of the main changes to the model constitution. An association is free to adopt its own constitution if the provisions of the model constitution do not suit its operations.
Proposed changes to the EESA constitution
EESA is incorporated in NSW, and consequently our constitution must address items in the Model Constitution within the Associations Incorporation Regulation 2016 of NSW legislation. The following clauses are recommended for modification, some for the above reason and some to satisfy current practice.
