Rainer Korte, Group Executive Asset Management, ElectraNet
An Energy Industry Executive with over 30 years’ experience in the electricity industry. Rainer is responsible for a range of strategic asset management, network development, regulatory and land management functions, along with leading ElectraNet’s energy transformation initiatives in South Australia.
Rainer holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (with First Class Honours) and a Bachelor of Science and is a graduate of the London Business School Senior Executive Program. He is a Fellow of Engineers Australia (FIEAust), a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) and Engineering Executive (EngExec).
Rainer will provide a big picture overview of the benefits of a new interconnector between South Australia and New South Wales, the project proposal and how it has been developed, the current status of the project and next steps.
