Canadian based energy company, Hydrostor, is constructing Australia’s first Advanced Compressed Air Energy Storage (A-CAES) facility at the closed Angas Zinc Mine near Strathalbyn. The 5MW/10MWh fuel-free facility will use the existing underground mine void to develop a below-ground air-storage cavern to achieve emissions free energy storage.
Greg has 20 years of experience across a range of technology and engineering industries, including extensive business development and operational expertise with industrial plant and equipment, and solar and battery energy storage. Greg previously held senior roles at SOLCO Ltd (Formerly Solar Energy Systems Ltd) and enGen (Energy Generation), a part of Wesfarmers Energy. Prior to joining Hydrostor, Greg was Chief Operating Officer at Carnegie Clean Energy, where he was responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory and commercial requirements for project development, execution and the sale of power and water.
