ABOUT THE SA CHAPTER
The primary objectives of the South Australian Chapter are to support the power industry by:
- Providing opportunities for continuous professional development and networking
- Running effective conferences and seminars
- Stimulating university engineering graduates to take up careers in power engineering
The activities of the Chapter each year include:
- Running a “Technical Program” with well-attended seminars on topical industrial subjects and safety-related areas
- Running an “Awards Program” at the SA tertiary institutions to recognise high achievement in the field of power engineering
- Supporting the Australian Power Institute’s undergraduate bursary program
