ABOUT THE SA CHAPTER

The primary objectives of the South Australian Chapter are to support the power industry by:

  • Providing opportunities for continuous professional development and networking
  • Running effective conferences and seminars
  • Stimulating university engineering graduates to take up careers in power engineering

The activities of the Chapter each year include:

  • Running a “Technical Program” with well-attended seminars on topical industrial subjects and safety-related areas
  • Running an “Awards Program” at the SA tertiary institutions to recognise high achievement in the field of power engineering
  • Supporting the Australian Power Institute’s undergraduate bursary program
