Neoen Australia is a leading independent producer of renewable energy in Australia. Neoen Australia develops, owns and operates renewable energy assets across the country, including solar, wind, and battery storage projects. The company has a diverse portfolio of projects, including the Collie Battery in Western Australia which will be a stand-alone battery up to 1 GW, potentially built in stages of 200 MW each. The aim is to provide short duration storage in the peak times to ease pressure on the grid. The battery will be able to provide grid stability and other grid services which will also encourage more integration of more renewable energy into the network.
